"The
Works" Inside Outside Comprehensive Health
Evaluation
Figuring
out for yourself exactly what to do regarding your overall
health is often very confusing. The "SuperSlow®/Zone”
program provides the solid basics for a healthy life but the
other little details often go unattended to. The
"Works" was designed to help with this confusion The
"Works"
can be included with your “Whole New You” Program.
Dr.
Christian,
working with Cenegenics Medical Institute of Las Vegas,
has designed an "Executive
Level" evaluation program which far exceeds any testing
your Doctor would ever perform. It is a perfect program
to "Optimize" and "Refine" your present
health program. Included is considerable education about
the testing and the results. At the end of this
evaluation you will know how to take care of yourself!!
Let us help you put the pieces of the puzzle together. The
evaluation can be tailored to your needs.
EXAMPLE
OF "THE WORKS" REPORTS
Included in
"Works"
Comprehensive
Review of Your Medical History and a Physical Exam: If there are old records which you
would like for Dr. Christian to review we can request these
from you previous Doctors.
Routine
Lab Work: Although
we will be looking at some lab work that is not routinely done
by your Doctor, it is important to make sure the basic lab is
OK. We will check a CBC, Urinalysis, Liver Function
Tests, Kidney Function and Iron Levels.
Cardiovascular Risk Panel :
Through Cenegenics. Lipid Profile, Homoysteine,
C-Reactive Protein are analyzed.
Cenegenics
Male or Female Hormone Profile:
This is a complete evaluation
of your hormone system and gives us information to
determine if you might benefit from Hormone Modulation to
supplement your low hormone levels back to the upper 1/4 of
the normal range. No super physiological doses are
allowed. For more information, go to the Cenegenics
Site.
DXA
Bone Density Testing: We
will look at your hip, spine and forearm bone density.
DXA
Body Compositon Testing: A research level tool to
determine how much fat and lean are in each arm, each leg and
your trunk. We use this to set your goals via your Zone
Prescription and to follow your weight loss progress.
Diabetes and Dysglycemia Screening.
We will
look at fasting Insulin, Glucose and HA1C.
Comprehensive Report and
Recommendations (SEE BELOW): You will
have about a 2 hour appointment with Dr. Christian to review
all the results of the testing and to go over his
recommendations. In addition, a detailed report is
prepared along with a CD of the report and links to sites
where supplements recommended can be reviewed.
Not Included
in "Works but Recommended Testing"
Dr. Sears AA/EPA Ratio Testing: This is
a test which gives us a very accurate idea of whether
your body is in balance of the Omega 6 and Omega 3 fats.
This will help us determine the dose of pharmaceutical grade
fish oil you should take.
Spectracell
Antioxidant Testing: It is important that we have
some measure of the effectiveness of your antioxidant
program. This test will tell us what your baseline
oxidative stress level is and how we need to alter your
micronutrient program. For More information go to the Spectracell
Site.

The AMAS (Anti-malignin antibody in serum) test is a
diagnostic test which measures levels of a specific antibody
which is found in a variety of cancers. It supplements
testing such as the CEA and other tumor markers. See
The AMAS site.
Arrangements
can be made for additional testing such as Cardiac UltraFast
CT Scanning for Calcium Score, CT Angiography, Cardiac Cardiac Stress
Testing, Mammograms and Colonoscopy if desired.
NOTE:
These services are not normally covered by insurance. We
can give you a detailed list of the procedure codes of the
testing and you can submit this to your insurance to find out
if you can be reimbursed for this testing. We are unable
to do this for you.

While
Inside Outside may make these recommendations at earlier age than some physicians or
organizations, we feel that it is better to have an earlier screening, rule a condition
out and establish a baseline than waiting until disease may already be present. |
