From Dr. Christian: Artefill is Back!! Product on hand, Call for
of you have been waiting for the return of the popular long
lasting filler Artefill!! Well the wait is over!!
Suneva Medical has bought the rights to the product and with
a leaner and more efficient business model, they have
introduced the product again in the US market. As many
of you remember, this is the first long lasting filler
product on the market and a similar product Artecoll has
been used worldwide for over 20 years. The USA version is a
more refined product and was FDA approved in 2006. The
product is less expensive now and a .8cc Syringe is $800,
versus last years cost of $1100-$1400! Call for your free
consultation now!! First 5 clients get a $100 rebate

The Dermaroller! Complete line of
Dermaroller Products and Services available!! |
Inside Outside is
offering Dermaroller Treatments for Skin Rejuvenation. Dermaroller treatments
have been used in Europe for about 8 years for a variety of
age and sun related skin conditions and also acne scarring.
The treatment may be just as effective as more expensive and
painful fractional laser resurfacing treatments such as the
Pixel and the Fraxel with virtually no downtime. There is a
home version of the Dermaroller which markedly improves
absorption of products and a medical treatment version which
is more aggressive, done by me and is aimed at Collagen
Induction for skin rejuvenation. We
will be using the NeoCutis Processed Cell Proteins discussed
in this newsletter as part of our protocol.

years we have been enjoying the PureOmega 3 Capsules as our Fish Oil of
choice at very good prices here at Inside Outside. Unfortunately,
the product is no longer available. We have about 35 bottles
remaining which normally would expire at the end of November, BUT,
if you freeze the fish oil, the shelf life is extended about 1 year!
We have reduced the price to $25.00 per bottle (200 capsules), each
capsule contains 700mg total of EPA and DHA, so they are really
concentrated. I am suggesting to everyone that they get a few
bottles and freeze them for future use. Supplies are limited and First
Come, First Serve is the rule!! So call and reserve a few or
purchase when you come for your workouts! Just to remind you how
important Omega 3's are to our health, the Article of The Month,
Entitled "Membrane Omega-3 Fatty Acid Deficiency as a Preventable Risk
Factor for Comorbid Coronary Artery Heart Disease in Major Depressive
Disorder" can be downloaded. Coronary Artery Disease and Depression are
probably the two most important disabling problems, in addition to
Sarcopenia, facing us as we age

Michael Eades' Blog, Author of Protein Power, "Are we meat
eaters or vegetarians"
I have long
been a fan of Dr. Michael Eades, the Author of Protein Power. He
has written recently in a very academic manner about the science which
makes meat eating a evolutionary force for development of the human
species. It is a 2 part series and makes for some good reading
when you can slow down and think about the points he is making.
He reviews most pertinently, an article written in 1995 in Current
Anthropology entitled, "The Expensive Tissue Hypothesis, The Brain
and Digestive System in Human and Primate Evolution", by Leslie
Aiello and Peter Wheeler. From Dr. Eades' Blog, "

Ominvore's Dilemma", If you want to know where your food comes
from!! Maybe Not!
In his book,
"The Omnivore's Dilemma", Michael Pollan takes us on a journey through
the food chain and by the end of the book you will know where your food
comes from and the commercial (and rather disturbing) complexities of our national food supply!
From the Washington Post:
"Most of us are at a great distance from our food. I
don't mean that we live "twelve miles from a lemon," as
English wit Sydney Smith said about a home in Yorkshire.
I mean that our food bears little resemblance to its
natural substance. Hamburger never mooed; spaghetti
grows on the pasta tree; baby carrots come from a pink
and blue nursery. Still, we worry about our meals --
from calories to carbs, from heart-healthy to brain
food. And we prefer our food to be "natural," as long as
natural doesn't involve real.
In The Omnivore's
Dilemma, Michael Pollan writes about how our food is
grown -- what it is, in fact, that we are eating. The
book is really three in one: The first section discusses
industrial farming; the second, organic food, both as
big business and on a relatively small farm; and the
third, what it is like to hunt and gather food for
oneself. And each section culminates in a meal;
cheeseburger and fries from McDonald's; roast chicken,
vegetables and a salad from Whole Foods; and grilled
chicken, corn and a chocolate soufflé (made with fresh
eggs) from a sustainable farm; and, finally, mushrooms
and pork, foraged from the wild." The book
introduced me to the Polyface Farm which is a perfect
example of how we can most efficiently capture the
energy of the sun.

Polyface Farm, America's Premier non-industrial food
1961, William and Lucille Salatin moved their young family to Virginia’s
Shenandoah Valley, purchasing the most worn-out, eroded, abused farm in the
area near Staunton. Using nature as a pattern, they and their children
began the healing and innovation that now supports three generations.
Disregarding conventional wisdom, the Salatins planted trees, built huge
compost piles, dug ponds, moved cows daily with portable electric fencing,
and invented portable sheltering systems to produce all their animals on
perennial prairie polycultures.
Today the farm arguably represents America’s premier non-industrial food
production oasis. The farm is 550acres, 450 acres of forest and 100 acres of
grass. The Sun makes the grass grow (remember photosynthesis?) and cattle
and chicken eat the grass in a precise rotation schedule that maximizes
growth of the grass. The farm is totally self sufficient and they
produce an immense amount of food from just 100 acres of land! Michael Pollan, in his book, "The Omnivores Dilemma" explains how it all works!!

Products now available, Fetal Growth Factors, talk about young!!
"NeoCutis gives a new meaning to "New Skin". This Swiss based research
company working with the University Hospital of Lausanne has developed a
line of products which contain what they refer to as PSP or Processed Cell
Proteins. They took a sample of fetal skin and cultured it. The
result was a complex of 18 different fetal growth factors, antioxidants and
cytokines which are abundant in fetal tissues and are associated with skin
development, repair and renewal. These proteins were used to help heal
deep burns and other poorly healing wounds without skin grafts!! Now
these same proteins are available in a fine line of products which will
complement any skin care program of rejuvenation. We plan to use these
products with the Dermaroller discussed in the second article of this
